FIVE-STAR DISPLAY
QPR Under-18's maintained their free-scoring form with a five-goal blitz of Gillingham on Saturday.
Doubles from Romone Rose (picturted) and Antonio German and a Cyrus Sylvan Vanterpool goal left boss Steve Brown purring with delight.
"Winning is a great habit and we've certainly got that feeling at the moment," Brown told www.qpr.co.uk.
"The lads played really well, against probably the best side we've played all season.
"We didn't see much of the ball early on, but Romone came up with a wonder goal and goals change games.
"Romone was exceptional throughout. He's such a hungry lad and he's got bags of ability, endurance, pace and a keen eye for goal. He's got every chance of going on to the next level."
Brown continued: "Hard work is the minimum port of call for us and the lads have responded really well to the ethics we are trying to install here.
"Keeping a clean sheet was the most pleasing aspect of the day.
"We've been conceding far too many sloppy goals in recent weeks, but we cut out the basic errors on Saturday and the lads got what they deserved."
