Under-14 gaffer Steve Quashie spoke to www.qpr.co.uk recently, to give us his thoughts on the season so far.

With the winter period approaching, Quashie reflected on the nine fixtures the Under-14's have played to date.

"The squad has played in three different formations, with the emphasis being on 'principles of attacking play'. The players have responded well to the changes and they try to play the beautiful game beautifully.

"So far, we have scored an impressive 71 goals and have only conceded three.

"We made two additions to the squad from last season, and both have adapted well to our training methods and style of play."

The team currently occupies third position in the Home Counties League division 1.
