QPR Under-13 Girls finished their season on an almighty high after winning the Home Counties League, League Cup and the Middlesex County Cup.

Team Manager Steve Quashie spoke to www.qpr.co.uk and reflected upon the 2006/07 campaign.

"The team performed exceptionally well during an extremely tough season,'' he said.

"Having started the season as reigning champions, the girls had to adapt their game as all of our opponents tried even harder to beat us.

"Our success came from being sound defensively - keeping an impressive 13 clean sheets out of 27 games. We also had some creative attack-minded players, who expressed themselves fantastically well and were totally unpredictable, on and off the ball!"

The squad are now enjoying a well earned summer break before commencing pre-season training on August 10th.

Fantastic achievement girls!
