JUNIOR AT THE DOUBLE

A second half brace from Junior Olajide (pictured) ensured Steve Gallen's Under-16's returned to winning ways on Saturday.
The R's second half substitute bagged a deadly double to clinch a comfortable 2-0 victory over Oxford United at Harlington.
Minus the services of Cyrus Vanterpool - who was on the bench for the Under-18's - and Courtney Springer, who was unavailable, Gallen opted for a 4-5-1 formation.
Antonio German ploughed a lone furrow in attack, although with several attacking midfielders in behind him, he wasn't short of support.
However, after 15 minutes of dominance, Gallen switched to a 4-4-2 formation, pushing Tashan Jordan up front to partner German and switching Taylor Morgan to the left side of midfield.
Yet despite more and more crosses raining in and two efforts being cleared off the Oxford line, Rangers failed to break through before the break.
The one-way traffic continued in the second half, but with the goal failing to materialise, Gallen made what turned out to be an inspired substitution.
Olajide entered the fray at the expense of Jordan and on 65 minutes he was in the right place at the right time to bundle home a Morgan cross at the far post.
Ten minutes later Olajide scored again, this time jinking down the right wing before cutting inside and firing in a shot which rifled into the back of the net, albeit via a deflection.
Olajide's day could have been complete late on, when he had a great opportunity to complete his hat-trick, but he failed to take advantage of a one-on-one situation with the U's keeper.
A delighted Gallen told www.qpr.co.uk: "I was pleased for Junior, because I haven't been able to give him as much time on the pitch as I would have liked so far this season.
"With Cyrus and Courtney unavailable I managed to get him on for half an hour or so and he took his chance with both hands.
"I thought overall we played very well, although there will be harder tests for us in the future than Oxford. We got plenty of crosses in and Sam Holland and Danny Davenport are linking up very well on the right, giving us good attacking and crossing options.
"Antonio worked hard up front and although he hasn't managed to get himself on the score-sheet yet this year, he has caused defences all sorts of problems with his physical presence.''
