R's duo Damien Delaney and Martin Rowlands have been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad for the summer internationals against Serbia and Colombia.

Left back Delaney, who has impressed since his January transfer from Hull City, joins the R's Club Captain in Giovanni Trapattoni's first Eire squad since his appointment in February.

The pair will meet up with the squad on Thursday for a training camp in Portugal, prior to subsequent friendlies against Serbia (Saturday 24th May) and Colombia (Thursday 29th May) at Croke Park and Craven Cottage respectively.
